Standard Life Investments has announced the appointment of Debbie Harris as head of strategic consultant relations in the Institutional Business Development team.
The global investment manager said that Ms Harris will report to Louise Kay, who is head of UK Institutional Business Development.
Ms Harris will be responsible for strengthening relationships with global consultants as well as ensuring appropriate coverage across geographies with these key stakeholders, Standard Life Investments said.
"I am looking forward to working with my new colleagues to strengthen and deepen the excellent relationships that Standard Life Investments already has with consultants in the UK institutional market and to broaden out our global reach," she commented.
Ms Harris, who will be based in London, joins from BNP Paribas Investment Partners and has previously worked for Henderson Global Investors .
