F&C Investments has launched a new fund designed to provide investors with a combination of capital growth and income from European equities .
Investing on a pan-European basis, the new F&C European Growth and Income SICAV currently holds investments in 13 countries, with approximately 22 per cent in the UK.
The fund is managed by Paras Anand, head of European equities, who "looks to blend a focused portfolio of blue-chip long-term investments where he believes the market is materially mis-pricing a company's prospects".
F&C Investments explained: "The yield on the current portfolio is estimated to be approximately 3.7 per cent compared with a benchmark yield of 3.2 per cent."
Furthermore, dividends on the fund will be distributed quarterly.
Meanwhile, the annual European regional economic growth index compiled by LaSalle Investment Management claimed recently that London is the most attractive European city for real estate investment.
Economic growth factors and overall wealth were just two of the factors used to determine the outcome of the index.
