Standard Life Investments, the global fund manager, has won the 'Investment Provider' 5-Star Award at the Financial Adviser Service Awards 2010.
The accolade, which was presented at a ceremony held in London, means that Standard Life Investments has secured success in the '5-Star' category in 14 of the last 15 years.
The awards are considered to be the benchmark for service standards within the retail finance marketplace.
And the 5-Star award is widely considered to be the most sought-after in the industry.
"Throughout 2010 we increased our personal contact with intermediaries via our business development team and our regional investment managers," explained Jacqueline Kerr, head of UK wholesale at Standard Life Investments .
"We also embarked upon an intensive education programme, putting over 1,000 advisers through training in relation to our Global Absolute Return Strategies Fund."
Founded in 1825, Standard Life is a long-term savings and investment business.
