Standard Life Investments has announced that one of its products has been added to Hargreaves Lansdown's Wealth 150 List.
The Global Absolute Return Strategies (GARS) Fund, which was the company's best-selling mutual fund in 2009 and is again so far this year, is now considered one of the best products across all the major sectors.
Mark Dampier, head of research at Hargreaves Lansdown, said that the fund had to stand out from the crowd in order to be included into the prestigious list.
He added: " Standard Life Investments GARS Fund has proven itself through a rigorous selection process and through the benefits we think investors will reap from the sheer scale of the fund's diversification, which has enabled it to weather the economic storm successfully returning 9.8 per cent to investors since its launch to market in June 2006."
Earlier this year, it was revealed that the GARS fund had passed the £2 billion barrier in the amount of assets under management.
