A property investment portfolio from F&C REIT has been recognised for its impressive returns over the past few years.
The F&C Commercial Property Trust celebrated success at the IPD European Property Investment Conference Awards, when the Friends Provident Life and Pensions With Profits Fund property portfolio won the award for Highest Total Return Balanced Fund.
F&C manages 42 per cent of this portfolio and Richard Kirby, who manages the F&C Commercial Property Trust at F&C REIT, was pleased with the recognition.
He commented: "We are delighted to have won such a prestigious award which is another validation of the successful track record of F&C REIT.
"The Friends Provident With Profit fund property portfolio has been significantly reshaped over the past five years with the formation of F&C Commercial Property Trust in 2005 and its performance and a number of other significant sales, purchases and asset management opportunities over the period."
Meanwhile, Santander recently reminded homeowners that investing in a garage for their property can add an average of £7,250 to its value.
