Two new investment opportunities for pension-holders have been announced by Scottish Widows, allowing customers to put their money into various markets.
The Multi-Manager Diversity Fund places investments into equities, bonds, properties, commodities and hedge funds in order to take advantage of any improvements in all fields.
Those interested in making investments elsewhere can choose the Multi-Manager Select Boutiques fund, which concentrates on specialist and boutique markets.
Mark Harries, head of the investment funds, said: "We are delighted to be added to the Scottish Widows range of core pension funds and see this as a significant testament to the quality of the Multi Manager funds."
Banking giant HSBC recently announced new funds to allow retired people to make investments into the global equity markets while securing 100 per cent of any returns.
