Invesco Perpetual has launched a new investment product aimed at the global equities market .
The Global Equity Income investment fund will be managed by Paul Boyne and target high-quality businesses across the world.
Mr Boyne said: " Dividend yields are at multi year highs and whilst there are question marks over sustainability of some of these yields, we believe there is a wealth of opportunity available to us."
The investment account will aim to achieve a rising level of income along with capital growth, he added.
It is expected the product will typically have around 75 stocks in its portfolio, with from 60 to 100 holdings, Mr Boyne explained.
The initial offer period for the investment fund is 30th January to 27th February.
Last week, Hilary Aldridge, co-manager of the F&C UK Growth and Income fund claimed that some British high street shops still make for attractive investment opportunities despite the current downturn.
