Hexam Capital launches new investment fund

Thu, 12 Feb 2009

Hexam Capital has announced the launch of its latest investment fund .

The UK-domiciled Ignis Hexam Global Emerging Markets investment fund will mirror the award-winning international version of the fund.

Onshore authorisation means that the new version of the investment account will be more accessible for UK investors .

Bryan Collings, lead manager of the investment fund, said: "Emerging markets have the kind of solid fundamentals and investment opportunities that the developed world can only dream about."

The investment account will allow people to expand the reach of their portfolio, reducing the risk of them being exposed to a further economic deterioration in the UK, he added.

Emerging markets should deliver considerable growth in future and investors should take advantage of this, Mr Collings stated.

Yesterday, Cofound revealed that it is now offering the 130/30 investment fund provided by UK equities specialist Cartesian Capital.

The investment fund is ranked 9th in the Lipper Global Equity UK sector listing.
