Investments fund JP Morgan Asset Management has said that it will introduce an onshore bond offering to match last month's five new Luxembourg-based bonds .
Launching on May 6th, the JPM Strategic Bond Fund aims to achieve three per cent higher returns than its benchmark, the Merrill Lynch GBP Broad Market Index and will be managed by Bob Michele.
Bond sectors have benefitted from those looking for low-risk investments during troubled economic times due to the solutions they provide for good returns and capital guarantee.
Jasper Berens, head of UK retail sales at JP Morgan Asset Management, said: "This has added significant new resource to our already strong fixed-income capability. This new fund is a distillation of all the best ideas from around the group."
As well as onshore bonds, a new study by Legal and General found that advisers are recommending offshore bonds as a sound investment .
